It Started with a Single Bean
In 2020, two friends with a shared obsession for great coffee decided to stop searching for the perfect cup — and start making it themselves. Armed with a second-hand roaster and a tiny garage, Ember was born.
What began as weekend roasting sessions for friends quickly grew into something bigger. Word spread. The garage got too small. A café followed, then another. But the philosophy never changed: source the best beans, roast them with intention, and serve them with care.
Today, Ember Roasters serves thousands of cups monthly, partners with farms across three continents, and remains fiercely independent. Every bag we sell, every drink we pour — it all traces back to that first batch in the garage.
